I would like to draw the attention of members of this community to the britpunk, glasgow_gigs and oldschoolpunk communities. These communities are presently active, and flyers, posters, tickets and photos are being added daily which will be of interest to the punk rockers amongst you. Contributions, comments and advertisements for forthcoming punk gigs and events are welcomed.

Are you fed-up with sites like Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr? Do you wish your old friends who've migrated to those sites would return to LiveJournal? The the_lj_revival community has been set up with that aim in mind, and you are invited to join it. If you are already on LiveJournal and still have a Facebook profile, and would like to see more people returning to LJ or setting up accounts here, we invite you to post a link to this community on your Facebook Timeline. I just wanted to make you aware of Night is Day, a new TV show which was shot in Glasgow.

Night is Day Series 1 Trailer from Fraser Coull on Vimeo.

Series 1 is made up of 6 episodes and a DVD which is made up of 2 discs of special features, is available to buy from the website.

Series 2 is in post production and coming soon!

Hullo, I am looking for folk to run activities, teach classes and play nightclubs for the E-Quality Office (location to be confirmed but thinking town centre or on Maryhill Rd)

which will be educating folk to the E-Quality project

Edg&r have two events for you this week..

Thursday 29th is a combined rock night with Untapped Talent as part of the Student Festival, with two bands - Celador and Omission - along with an Open Mic session and DJ sets into the small hours of the morning.

Teviot Underground. 21:00 - 01:30. £3 entry (£2 if you're in either society)


Friday 30th is a punk night with The Murderburgers (pop punk from Glasgow) and The Hostiles (ska from Ayr) supporting Edinburgh's classic punk band, Sad Society.

Bannerman's Bar. 21:00 - 00:00. £4 entry (£3 for Edgar and Glam members) and all profit going to help Shelter Scotland.
