COMICS
cave of the comic queens
ladyfest manchester and ladyfest bristol joined forces to curate a women's comic art exhibit - possibly the world's largest collection of comix created by women - which we have brought up to glasgow to showcase to you! comix are often seen as boy territory and the mass of talented women creating comix in this country and beyond just don't get the recognition they deserve. through the exhibition and we hope to gain more appreciation for the field as a valid art and narrative form, and cultural phenomenon.... and show that comics are not exclusively for boys and their superheroes!
